New Build Questions

Hey peoples!

I'm planning a new build and have a few questions.

1. I'm ~300lbs. With a 79cc preddy and a SBP shift kit, about what kind of hill climbing/top speed can I expect?

2. I love the look of the Micargi Huntington frame, but it's got a 1" fork tube (what's that part called BTW?). I'd like to put a MTB suspension fork with disk brakes on my build, but as far as I know they only make them in 1 1/8". Is there either a fork I don't know about that will fit, or a frame with the same lines as the Huntington but with a 1 1/8" fork tube?

3. With the shifter kit, can I have rear disk brakes?

4. Given my weight, what wheels would y'all recommend? If it's more cost effective to lace my own, where can I learn how to do that?

I'm sure I'll have more questions as the planning and build progresses. Thanks for y'all's input!

The tube on the front of a bike is called the head tube. If you wanna use a 1 1/8" fork...then generally you can change the upper/lower races and bearings to be able to use the bigger od fork.
I would suggest wheels that have minimum 36 spokes and 12 gauge spokes or larger.
