I am looking for some suggestions as to which kit I should get for my schwinn. I have talked to a few people who have said that the bike might not be a good fit for a motor. The bike rides really well and has a new set of tires, the breaks work just fine, and I have not had any problems with the chain. However I don't know much about motor kits or what I should even be looking for when it comes to these things.

Looks like plenty of room, so don't think youll have any problems with any kits I know of.
The skinny road tires are gonna be kinda ruff riding. I would consider a good seat or springed as an upgrade down the road. Springer forks make a world of difference. But my first build was similar and was a great MB!

I will look into that for sure, might be my next project to start on after i get this kit completed, it would make sense it put a bigger tire on it, and i am sure a bike shop would know how to go about that.

I wouldn't worry about anything yet aside from taking your time and getting her put together. I probably shouldn't have mentioned the tires.

I am excited for sure, I am anxious to see how it all turns out. I'm not to worried about the tires right now but investing in a good seat i will do for sure, I know the stock seats aren't to comfortable sometimes. I will let you know how it goes, I should be getting in sometime tomorrow.
A little update, had to buy a new bike the schwinn back tire hub was too round. So I got a new bike, went to mount the motor, back mounted fine now the from won't clear the frame. Needless to say I'm very frustrated, with that being said by any chance does anyone know if the universal mount is only for the back mount or can it be used for the from aswell

sorry for the late response, come to find out my kit was not compatible with the longer frame, which is cool. However I did still manage to get my hands on a bike that was already hooked up with a kit.... I am still going to tackle this engine though, I just needed something quick. But I tell you I am loving this thing so fun..... Yet I still have some concerns I took it up a hill and peddle it up since it was bogging down, and now the chain is making a weird noise when i peddle it with out the engine running. It doesn't seem like its acting up it still runs good though, another thing is the oil to gas mixture, the guy told me to do 32:1. Grant it I am not to familiar with this all i know its 4 fl oz to 1 gallon right but isn't that a tad bit rich for a engine?

Yup. 32:1 4oz oil 1gal gas is correct for an engne after a couple hundred miles. For a new engine you will want it rich by adding 5 oz oil to a gal. (that's what I do anyway) Hundreds of threads here and opinions on oil mix and types. My best advice with a new engine is to pull plug and pour an oz of oil before first start. Roll the bike around clutch engaged plug out so as to pre lube cyl and rings. Oh - check your chain for alignment. Look at the chain aiignment. Listen to see if the chain is rubbing the engine drive sprocket cover. You may have to remove it - see where it's scarring and do some minor dremel/file work.
