Ryan, Thank you for all your help with putting on the race!

Ryan runs his home built dyno that is the real deal.
What other racing series has their own dyno at the track?

Ryan also gets local Apple Valley motorhead enthusiasts to do
the flagging and of course Travis who checks everyone in and
handles the most onerous task of scoring the races with my
Copyrighted and Patented no fuss scoring solution!

Ryan brings some cute ladies too!

Thanks to Sam our starter with style even though he will never

Once again thanks to everyone for making the Oct 19th race the
best ever and in so doing raising the bar on future races.

2014 schedule is:

Sat April 12th at Willow go Kart track for SURE.

Sat May 31st at Grange Motor Circuit.

July and Sept sat night races at Willow to be determined by when the stock cars race on the oval.

Sat Oct 18th at Grange Motor Circuit for SURE!

I got this email today from a new racer, #843 who had been emailing me about joining up to Socal Motor Bicycle Racing.

He has a 1939 German Phanomen moped racer and a China girl tribute build.

The Phan is 94cc...old. I have the original, and I have a "replica" made to look like it - 50% real/50% modern parts.
Current project is a 1958 Francis B british racing green one...have the tank, frame, fairings, seat and thats about it right now...

Cant remember if I told you - but I got rear ended on my way to the race...and, of course, the cycle was on the back...bent the wheels and knocked the engine off its frame...so back to the garage...

Will be ready for the next one...is there a race scheduled?

i didn't get all the bikes because they either hadn't shown up yet or they were on the track...

Thanks for posting those. I was having so much fun at the race I forgot to take pics. I got the battery box squared away this week - key start now.

The races really are worth the 4 hour drive!

I thought I already posted the results. I got distracted and never finished the draft.

Mainly posting from my phone so its a pain to type too much and really busy getting a new
motorized bike business up and running along with other life stuff.

Amateur class winner was #40 Ryan Burkman who won the Silver State Cycles board tracker frame and tank and the 1st billet side cover trophy.

2nd place #104 Darryl won the spring loaded chain tensioner from our sponsor turbobuick1 who is a member here and sells them in Swap & Shop.

Intermediate class winner was # 88 Jimmy Rust on the Arrow beater practice bike! Jimmy won a 1st SMBR billet side cover too and a billet high performance head from CR Machine.

Midrange class was won by #98 nashmoto who win a cool Joker Machine black anodized engraved trophy and I don't remember if he got the Manic Mechanic sprocket adapter but I think #59 headtrama who came in 2nd won that?
Thank you George for being the "official SMBR racing sprocket adapter"

The 99 CC HF class was won by #3 scotto who got a Joker Machine trophy to add to his collection and a new 99 CC manifold from our 4 stroke sponsor Affordable Go Karts.

The Unlimited class was won by Jeff Fitzgerald on the 200 CC Arrow Motorized Cycles bike winning a Joker Machine billet trophy.

The 11 HP class raced at the same time was won by nashmoto on his GC 160 Honda Midrange bike winning him another Joker Machine trophy.

The Unlimited class races mopeds or nopeds too which was won overall by #174 Christophe 1st and Ryan the dyno man #191 2nd both on Tomahawk Mopeds with #87 Jeff 3rd overall on the 200 CC Arrow. Motorized Cycles bicycle.

Tapped this out on my phone but gotta go make some moola so will post the full results when I get back on my computer.

Hey Norm, I have one of your Venice Motor Bikes stainless Springer disc brake adapter left over because you gave too many prizes and T shirts as usual. Thanks!

You might be surprised. The Big Wheel only does about 35 mph, but I ride it to work on nice days like any other moped. Probably fun on the oval though.

Some very fun exciting track action.

Was a little disappointed you didn't race your 99 CC HF in the final
