East Coast Motorized Bike Rally October 11 & 12

Snork. During a lunch run I lost a nut on tank and had to finish ride holding it upright with one knee. Then the muffler insert jumped ship.

One thing I learned was belt drives are just as efficient as chain but far more aesthetically pleasing and a far easier install.

The rally was great!!! The flea market (is that what you call it?) was great I got a tach that matches my Speedo & an exhaust baffle that Quenton said would make my bike run better ( I can never go fast enough) from Quenton. Fossil gave me a carb spacer & screws to mount it, a drill to drill out my jet, a jet & tried to give me a carburator & wouldn't take any money. He kept trying to give me stuff. He is very generous to say the least.
Quenton brought all these performance parts & different clutches & spent hours giving us classes that I learned so much from.
We all rode each others bikes. It was great!! Dan & his wife were there from Connecticut. They are a nice couple from Connecticut. She was very gracious & stayed behind to watch things while we rode.
Can't wait until next year( but I am 59 & don't want to wish my life away )

It was small, but a lot of fun. We all got to meet some great folks, San and his wife Carol came all the way from Connecticut, while Quenton came up from the Outer Banks of North Carolina. We had great weather, and a great venue. Cape Henlopen has a lot to offer without even leaving the park, but you can't just stay in the park. You've gotta go into town, into Lewes. On Sunday, when we stopped at an Italian eatery for lunch, we ended up with this moniker: "The Lewes Motorbike Gang". It was bestowed upon us by an amused local. Here are some photos of the gathering. Enjoy!

Snork Killroy, the one pic of a Chinagurl and her gas tank is falling off.

Carol got some great pics of "The Mild Bunch" on the road. Will post soon.

Ya know she still has not been on a MB.

Ya know, you just have to get her to ride one once. Then she'll be hooked!

More pics. I know, I am a week late and a gray mater short. First few are of "ChinaGurl" having a hottub, cold drink and enjoying a lil down time. Rest are rally. (except when you get to just pics of "Ol' red" )

Man, good time!
