Re: Non US/European bikes

From India, as far as the Google translation makes sense, is this combination motorcycle and agricultural power unit/tractor. Before anybody laughs, think on a minute. A people with almost no money and no access to ready made machinery will come up with things from what they have to hand.

India is still in a pioneer phase in many areas. Hats off to the builder.

Exhibit in the Meguro/Kawasaki museum. Rather reminds one of the BSA Winged Wheel; Meguro bought the manufacturing rights to the A7 500 twin later, so a possible link there.

Re: Non US/European bikes

Ludwig, thank you so much for making these threads with pictures of obscure bikes! Its really cool to see how no idea is new and how every different combination has been tried.

Re: Non US/European bikes

The strange thing is that you find something with a poor picture quality or no information, get the pic or the info right, and the next thing you know, every search throws the same thing up at you.

Re: Non US/European bikes

And still I keep finding the unheard of:

TAS (Tanaka) BE48 moped engine, whether Japanese or Taiwanese construction is unknown.
