Howdy folks,
This event sure was fun. Really glad I decided to drive up on the last minute. Very inspirational too, seeing all the great builds and fast bikes. Makes me want to hop up my little bike... Looking forward to the upcoming races. I hope more people will show up to race, especially the slow class. We need more people to race in that class. I guarantee you will be addicted. So come out with your stock bike and have fun. I am, I'm only going 29mph on the straight ( I only weight 120 lbs.). There are a lot of MB's in SoCal, so we all should head out to the next MB race in Riverside.
I would like to thank everyone for their good vibes and hospitality.
See ya in Riverside!

Ouess what nostyle? I was one of the last people to leave the race and when Norm (VMB) was backing out I asked him if that was his blue folding chair leaning up against the pole in my pit spot. He and Jen assured me that it was broken, so that was that. I'm sitting there enjoying a beer before heading home and noticed a white bucket sitting next to that broken blue chair and thought nothing of it. A bit later a gust of wind blows the lid off of the white bucket and being the kind of guy I am I decide to retrieve the lid that blew about 30 feet away and take it to the dumpster along with the broken chair.

So I go pick up the lid, walk back to the white (soy sauce) bucket and broken chair, look inside the bucket and thought to myself "SCORED!" Among the other contents of the bucket with some super stinky oil of some type that had spilled inside was a cordless 19.2volt Craftsman drill motor. Yeah baby, not a bad find but they forgot to leave me the charger for it (although it had plenty of charge).

And again being the kind of guy that I am (cleaning up after others) and an all around nice guy, I'll bring your bucket with all of it's contents (yeah, the drill motor too) to Baird's race next Saturday.

I'm glad the rightful owner and Dennis spoke up......see you on the 16th, in the pits......where else? laff

Scotto,
That is too cool! Thank you Sir! for finding the white bucket. I'll be at the Adams for sure.

LOL! Dmb
The stinky oil is some cheap marine 2stroke oil...it was on sale, something like 10 bucks for a gallon.

Thanks again for your help!

yeah, where's the pictures and videos?
Hi Ryan?
I am still looking for all the pics and videos from the last race that you moped guys took.
Do you know were they are?

Good question though, there were lots of GoPro's on helmets so what happened to all the videos?

I have some pics that I will probably put up on facebook.

Thanks to all you Moped guys for a fantastic turn out.

If enough racers are serious enough to come down to San Diego to race, you might wanna let me know. Seems like I'm the only San Diegan to attend these races and I'd hate to see this little sport of ours disappear.

PM me if you are genuinely interested, in the mean time support the races that are scheduled for this year and let's keep these races going. The rest of the USA only wish they had this type of motorbicycle event. If you think you have fast bike, this is the place too PROVE it. Talk is cheap......don't be cheap!

See you at the races and in the pits.........

For all of you that didn't make the 4th SoCal Motor Bicycle Racing
event in California in less than a year here is a quick run down of the
days events.

We played with snakes.

Hung out in the pool with refreshments.

Worked on our tans.

Wore big hats.

And raced around the track......any questions?

Hi Ryan?

Good question though, there were lots of GoPro's on helmets so what happened to all the videos?

I have some pics that I will probably put up on facebook.

I have been meaning to make a post here thanking everyone and laying
out what happened but having to pay $200 out of my own pocket at
Grange is making me lose interest in putting on any more races.

I can't afford it. A bunch of you guys said you were coming and flaked out.
If you had of had the courtesy to contact me I would have made other
plans to compensate or raised the price.

The Spooky Tooth Death race already died in Tucson because you guys
were too cheap to pay more than $15

I have put way too much time and aggravation over the last year into
putting on races here to have to reach into my own pocket.

Don't support the races and they will go away...........
That sucks that you had to come out of your own pocket , Each one of your races has gotten better and better .For what we pay to race it is really cheap entertainment, Try going to a movie and dinner on the same amount it's not going to happen .
I am willing to throw you another 20 bucks to help recover some of the money you had to put out . Hopefully some of the others who raced will do the same to help keep this going .Ill give it to you Saturday at Bairds race when I see you ,And thanks for all your hard work on organizing these things .
