OOOOH! I lust for your motor and transmission. Very nice new ride. Im a Fordie, My Dad worked at the Wixom assembly plant for 32 years building Lincolns and T Birds. I even worked their for one. If you ever see a 1979 Lincoln with a moonroof I put it their. I have an old Ranger Splash 4X4 ( yellow of course) and a 1999 Roush Cobra with the 4.6 L flavor of your motor.
Thanks Velo. It's in the town where my Dad lives, & he's currently going for a test ride as we speak. Im negotiating hard on the price - it's already priced well, but Im going for the absolute best deal that I can.
Btw Happy thanksgiving!

Heh. None on my puter right now. Check post 48 of my Scotsman thread I inadvertently got a picture there of the bike leaning against it. Heres a cardomain page of it from the previous owner who unfortunatly didnt take very good care of it. I had LOTS of rebuilding to do once I had it but now its great ( and very loud ) Just needs a paint job and a T-56 trans; got a crappy T5 in it now.. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2420759/1999-ford-mustang

Does anyone know if Pat is maybe on holiday or something? I see on his profile that he's been checking into the forum everyday, but I haven't had any answer to emails from a few days back. Someone else here in NZ contacted me today & said they had tried emailing too & had no reply, & someone here on the forum said the same. Anyone know? Just wanna make sure I can still get another Flyer, as someone wants to buy mine.

Yep, I thought it must be because of you guys having the holiday. Someone wants to buy this Flyer, & I would like like to order a 'Flyer Deluxe' from him, that is frame, tank, oil tank etc. I was hoping to order the frame before this one is sold but never mind.
The guys that supplied my first China motor now has a very fast little China motor setup that I want put into the next one. I was very happy with the 48cc once the pipe & carb settings were changed, but this one will be even better apparently.
And no Pat, I don't want a 200 yet!!! I know they're gonna be way cool & torquey, in fact, VERY cool, but Im happy with the China's at the moment so please make me a deluxe !!!

I was just about to suggest a GX200 or something similar... lol.

I thought because you said youre not allowed to ride your bike legally (why is that again? I thought they were legal in NZ????) so you may as well make something a little faster, more reliable and a lot better sounding....... Go on!!!!! You dont wanna drive your tough XR8 all the way to the velodrome only to get on an underpowered china 2 stroke :)

I'm still here, guys. Busy with the holiday and work. I'll squeeze your frame in somewhere, Brett. Just finished up a deluxe for another guy a week back. Just a frame, right? Your going to swap your parts over from your current build I hope.

The law here on mopeds changed in July this year. You can register them but they have to be inspected & there are a lot of requirements, that make it almost impossible for this kind of bike.
No I like the China motors now that I know how well they can go when properly tuned. And I have a bit of a soft spot for 2 strokes, having owned some in the past.

Someone is asking to buy my whole bike now, they are coming to look at it tommorow.
So Im hoping you will do me a tank & toolbox too :)
& of course a sprocket adapter

When the new loop frame is done & arrives I'll show you it with that.
Someone took a vid of me riding it (it flies along now) but I haven't been able to get a copy of the vid. I'll try & see if my son will vid it for me.

I threw one of those engines in a Holden Torana GTR back in '95.

I'm having a go at you though Brett, I like whatever car tickles my fancy but couldn't resist the Holden vs Ford rivalry.

I quite like the 6 cylinder turbo Fords
