noob needs some help!

so i have a late 40's early 50's hawthorn cruiser and a 8 hp b&s motor, i need a way to mount it in frame. it has bolt holes at the bottom, im pretty shure it's going to need some welding to mount it.

Maybe you could use a 4 stroke in frame mount.They fit nice on a cruiser frame.Could bolt a plat to the 4 stroke mount and then drill some holes to mount the motor.

I put an 8hp Briggs in a Schwinn bike. It was real tight.
