Perfomance Pipe / Exchaust Tanaka 40

Has anybody used a performance exhaust / pipe for tanaka 40. Im having a hard time finding a perfonmancpipe. What other performace pipe/ exhaust that will increase the top speed or hp gain on a Tanaka 40. There is the ada stalker exhaust. Is it any effective. I'm welcome to any suggestions.
 
Welcome to the forum. Excuse my lack of knowledge about the Tanaka.
If it is a 2 stroke, you could adapt a performance pipe made for a goped engine.
It would probably require some cutting and welding.
If you have a four stroke motor, try adapting a pipe made for a Honda GX.
There is a subforum on this site dedicated to engine hop ups.
 
Hey G, I've got an ADA pipe that was used in Tanaka 40 perfomance packs...it's not the wrap-around type, it's the "banana" pipe that cradles the engine. I will call you within the hour so sit tight.....scotto-

What hp of gain in speed did you get from it. thanks
