Hi, looking for tips for cleaning the jets or needles on my titan engine. I removed the inline fuel filter and now she only purrs with the choke on. Which would indicate a lack of fuel.

the Brass Screw on the side of the carb is the slow jet or slow circuit adjustment screw. Optimum typical is 2.25 turns out. Enjoy the ride.
 
So the plastic screw is for controlling idle air? (Idle speed only not idle a/f ratio?)

That's by buddy Duane:) He has more moves than Ex-Lax! The Titans are so sweet. If you go to a dollar store get a package of sewing needles. They will work also. Find the size that fits then thread the needle and wrap the thread around it to form a handle. Coat the thread with glue or nail polish. Looky here, my 1000th post (c)
 
Oh yea, when you get tired of cleaning the carb, put an inline filter between the gas tank and the carb. Briggs & Straton makes one. About $4.00
 
I can't think of any reason not to use an inline filter. I always keep an extra one in the tool bag on the Whizzer just in case.
