Print out the emails or save em somehow...my email somehow dissapeared and they now have amnesia telling me I had a $20 STORE credit. I should have insisted on a refund while I was still in the 30 day dispute timeframe...my bad.

I bought my 80cc from kings this summer. I got it about a week later. I have since put over 3000 miles on it. Runs like a top. I have absolutely no complaints about kings.

I waited almost a week after emailing and calling them before I posted this...believe me it is the last thing I like to do. I have no complaints against the grubee kit I got unless you consider a 48cc is not a 66cc a problem but that's not a grubee thing that's a king's/bikegas thing. They have yet to respond to several emails I sent them so apparently they just take your money and run. They said they was gonna give me a $20 credit bottom line they lied.

Only $10? :-||

I ordered a 80cc got a 48cc they said they would give me a $20 credit I emailed them last Thursday got no response today I called them and got a razzle-dazzle the person you need to speak with is not in today try back tommorow. THEY scewed up the order why the heck they did not give me credit on my visa is beyond me I shoulda disputed the whole darn sale and made them ship it all over. Here's their number maybe they can tell you why they do business like this 877-354-3733

I saved every email to and from them and magically the one that says they was givin me a $20 credit is gone. They had me take pictures of the motor before they did anything only after I threatened to dispute the charge on visa. Apparently they do not understand the concept of the fact it takes $10 of advertising to overcome $1 of negative reviews.

I got a 48cc grubee skyhawk from Bikeberry. They didn't lie about the price or shipping, and I got the parts box inside a well closed larger box, with a parts list and engilsh instructions. Everything looked ok. Haven't assembled it yet.

My kit was a box inside another box...barely fit over it. That tells me these kits are packaged in China without being opened to look and see if all parts are there and in good shape prior to shipping. The inside box said gasbikedotnet appeared never to have been opened. Just to let ya know I still never got a reply from email sent. I'm not sure which is worse cheating me or ignoring me. Seems to me it would be a bad time of year for negative review.

If ya wanna save every last penny and just don't care about customer service: order whatever from whomever.

If you really want to get somethin' for your money: order from the folks that actually take the time to check in on the forum they're sponsoring, read the feedback and post information and tips regarding their products.

That alone shows the difference between someone out for a quick buck and those that actually enjoy the hobby and care how their product performs.

More on gasbike.net , (Kings) and others - I've heard lots about their leaky tanks, (in particular the 4L version).
2/3 that I've heard of leak at the mounting bolts. Poor support again - as far as I know they've still done nothing to rectify the problem, after 2-3 weeks.
I almost ordered one last week, but thanks to warnings from others elsewhere, decided against it and bought a 3L tank from dax instead. (And I really wanted a 4L tank.)
At least Duane at dax provides decent support.
For all other parts, I'll deal mainly with Rock Solid Engines in future.
Bought my engine kit from ZBox, but they don't impress me much either. Got a dud tensioner roller a couple of weeks ago. Warren did replace it, but was slow, almost rude, no 'sorry' or anything and, in my opinion, he should have refunded my return postage for his error. The roller had a major casting flaw on the surface the chain rolls on leaving a large flat-spot almost right through to the bearing. You couldn't miss it. I reckon if he's too slack to even glance at the things he sends, he should bear the cost, not us.

umm... Most (if not all) the "peanut" style tanks are identical in their mounting and the method in which the studs are welded to the tank - regardless of which dealer ya get them from. The dealers don't manufacture them so there's little difference, it's mostly random chance. It's the service (or lack thereof) that would be a different story, particularly if you got one with bent studs.

It is a silly design, that's true - a lil bit of backing plate would go a long way.

You say most. Not all? Do some checking on the 4L tanks. They are worse than others. I checked all the usual suppliers for 4L tanks and only gasbikes.net have them. A post (on another site - didn't want to say it,) got replies suggesting that:-
1. I don't buy a 4L tank from them
2. I don't deal with gasbike.net due to their poor service.

One buyer out of three said that he didn't have a leak.

Also, I did especially mention the lack of service.

Please don't umm... me, more manners please, especially from a moderator.

A: I wasn't referring to just the 4L tanks, your post had some ambiguity regarding that, but it looks as if you weren't either.

B: My post wasn't specifically directed at you, I was simply reminding folks that the primary difference in dealers is the service as most do not manufacture parts themselves.

C: I see absolutely nothing wrong with the "tone" of my post or any lack of "manners" - however, if for some reason you wish to reprimand myself or others kindly show some yourself and inquire via PM.

OK, now you have me worried. I just bought the 80cc black stallion from gasbike and if I get the wrong one I will be pissed! I have tried to be very careful with the sites I use and that one seemed legit. they will sure as heck hear from me for a long time if they screwed this up. How worried should I be guys?
