BIKE BICYCLE ENGINE KIT NEW BRAKE CLUTCH LEVER COMBO - eBay (item 380143370595 end time Nov-24-09 09:02:05 PST)

How does it work....how do you change speed?

It looks like a regular shifter/ brake lever...
It also looks like there isn't any control over the release of the clutch!! (just "click" & it's 1/2 off, & another "click" & it's totally off!!!)

It doesn't look like it would work well. IMHO

I don't get it. The picture shows only one cable. You couldn't use it that way. The speed or gear thing is a mystery too. I'd have to see one or read some more information before I'd buy it...Looks like a gimmic to me.

It's just a regular 'click shifter' for a front 3-speed derailleur... It wasn't designed to be used as a clutch lever.

I'm sure it can be used, but it won't allow a smooth release of the clutch!

Don`t Know Anything About It Myself. Am Guessing That The Brake Cable Enters Above The Shifter Cable, Then Maybe The Thumb Button Shifts It Up And The Small Lever Shifts It Back Down?? !! Just A Guess On My Part. I Doubt The Short Lever Would Be A Suitable Clutch Release Mechanism. Ron
