I like the Champagne one, could look real classy w/a unpainted engine :D

O'course there's always the rattlecan solution...

Choose by the frame color because the fenders will fall off anyway.

I'm partial to the Champagne because it's what I have but I'll probably repaint the frame in steel gray this winter because I haven't found any paint that matches the original for touch-ups.

Get the one that you like the most. Kev is right..the fenders are crap and bend real easy...death trap if you ask me. I like them all..I believe there is a shwinn at walmart for 120..I could be mistaken though..

Good luck..

Thanks for the replys....I know the fenders are junk, thats why I am wanting oppinions on the frames themselves....I will take the fenders off first thing and buy a double hanger set from my local bike shop for 35 dollors a set....I have a set of thick chrome double hangers I bought from him over 3 years ago and they are solid as a rock and holding up strong....

If I am only using the bike for everyday use and not a show piece I try to use the color that is easiest to touch up(BLACK).

I have the Champagne Cranbrook and I really like the way it came together, but I love the warm look of that mahogany Nel Lusso.

Call me crazy but I wont put a front brake on it....I have a moondog im riding now and I switched to a heavyduty rear coaster brake and still have the brakes on them but only use the coaster....If it has a hole to mount a front brake on it I might buy one from my local bike shop....
Im leaning toward the champange a little bit,but someone mentioned the black for easy touch ups with scratches and such.....
Thanks again for the help in picking...Keep the votes coming....

I vote for the champagne. If your worried about keeping your bike frame paint in perfect condition then go for the black. I tried to add some Ratly style to mine by adding the apehangers, I like the layback look. Im looking into getting steel heavy duty rims because the stock ones seem really soft and easily bent(just like the fenders). I cant wait to see what your gonna do with yours. I like seeing more and more cranbrooks and the different styles that are put into them.

Oops. Sorry Fall Down/Stand Up, I edited out the question about the brake because I was afraid of derailing your post.

Steal It. I would love to see what your going to do with your cranbrook. There Bad A$$ and they handle just fine. I bet some smaller ones would be sweet too. 15" is kinda big.. but I love them. The stock ones IMO are weak, different handies will give the bike a way cleaner look.

You think like I do,change a few things like handlebars and BAM!!!!A whole new bike and look....Ok champage and a little design of my own....I have to order the bike from were I live(the country walmart)and should be in,in a couple of weeks....
This is crazy though,I have a moondog and the way the rear swings down is in a S shape it gives it a longer look.....I have a 64 spaceliner that has the look of a cranbrook(just much cooler)the only thing is I dont think it was built to handle much) John-John
