I concur that these are far superior in every way to the 'Manic Mechanic' hub adapters!

I use these on all of my personal bikes, & recommend them to anyone building a serious 'performance' motorized bicycle! (^)

This is the best adapter out there I have one as well and will use it on all my builds that have the cb-110 hub. Mine came with a 40 tooth sprocket.

Is $80 for the CB-110 hub adapter only?
Does $80 include the sprocket too?
Are the sprockets all the same price?

Can you make a 36 tooth sprocket?
What is the smallest size sprocket you can make
for the CB-110 hub adapter?
thanks
$80 is for the complete sprocket adapter with 40t or 44t sprocket. The 56t sprocket is $10 more. Custom size sprockets are available. Smallest sprocket so far has been a 34t, so yes I can make a 36t. Custom sizes take a week.

Hey guys,

I was replying to a post over on cobrafreak's 1911 indian thread. He was having issues with his rear brakes coming apart and was planning to go to a disk. I was wondering if there was a good combo of front and rear drum that look period that can withstand stopping 300 lbs total weight from speeds of 45 mph or more.

Pat, you have any suggestions? any info from feedback on the Morini's? I would imagine those bad boys will haul bucket..no doubt.xct2

I have one guy running my adapter with a Morini engine and coaster brake. As for drums the Worksman drums are very nice and work well. They are not disk brakes but haul the bikes down nicely from speeds. Plenty adequate.

Hi, how is it actually attached? Does it push against the spokes, or does it grip the hub tightly? This could be what I'm looking for so I can use heavier duty tandem wheels.

The adapter clamps the hub. It is a very heavy duty design. The three clamp pieces easily fit between the spokes.

What is the advantage of a three piece design? I have the adapter from pirate with the countersunk sprocket bolts. How is it better? Just wondering, not trying to be a dick

I can answer that question for you... The three piece design has more clamping power to the wheel hub; it has better rotational balance because of it's symmetrical design, & it was made wider in the clamping area to be 'heavy duty' & have even more clamping force.

*edit* I can post actual measurements of both adapters tomorrow.
