nice job. glad you like it. dance1
as soon as i can, i have to get a few for my bikes.
i havent heard but perhaps one or two minor complaints (fixed now) about the shift kits.

Looks great Herder. What a great invention! SBP pulled out all the stops on this handy unit. I wish my pedal sprocket on my Spoiler was not 2 feet in the opposite direction :-|| I would install one of those babies in a heartbeat.
My next build will definitely involve that jackshaft system, I have a feeling that it would be a plus on solving driveline and vibration issues. SBP should get a medal for the idea. Happy building Loubuilt..bld.

phil wood they make different sizes I used a 73x122 good have gone to a 135 I had a sealed bottom bracket left over in Shimano. Look closely at these upon install {use blue lock tight , order there special socket] it is totally possible to move it to the left of the bike or the right. Centering the cranks is a piece of cake! Hope this helps, when I peddled everywhere in my day It was very important to me to be set evenly on a bike . There are a lot of bikes uneven at the bottom bracket these days. ONE OF MY BIGGEST PEIVES.....Phil Wood - ALL: Aspire VeloTech Secure Online Store They are really quit fool proof too I have peddled 6000 miles on these before with no probs at all changed it out cause I was bored!

Uncle Kudzu, heard about you being abducted by aliens, how was it?

abducted? i am an alien! but sssshh... don't tell anybody.

dang, Walty, i thought i could kinda quietly slide back into the forum real easy like, but you spotted me right away!

Hey Goat Herder, Nice Bike! I chose the same donor as well. I like what you did to the front end, please shed some light on that.

The SBP Shifter kit is great, I'm still new at this but learning as I go along. The only problem that I have had so far with the Shifter is that the sprocket driving the main drive gear starts drifting outwards, I retightened it with locktite, let's hope this is not a nagging issue. But riding with the SBK shifter is a blast!

Not sure I know which sprocket your saying.? The peddle crank sprocket or the one after the CH gear? Clean all hardware of grease at the fasteners with Brake clean then blue lock tight them at the gears as well.

Just a quick question, I've been looking into a jack shaft shifter kit and I was just wondering if you can still pedal the bike? Or are the pedals always moved by the engine?

You can pedal the bike. No the pedals are not always moved. There is a supplied front freewheel.

that shifter jack shaft is a great idea, the only thing that prevents me from a purchase is the cost . Its actually more than my entire build including my bike :( but it looks like a great idea, maybe some day I will give it a try as I do like the use of only right side chains

a person could get around the jack shaft use if you just got an engine with right hand shaft right ?

To tie in with the stock drive chain you will need a free wheel built into the crank, sos not to have to peddle with the engine

These are an older pair of rock shox a down hill fork there not cheap! Used in an ordinary way no stunts they will last a long time this is not the first bike I had them on. The other bike was still fine just could't get a CH on it. Sorry I missed part of your question on your post. Did you fix your prob? Check back with SBP they are more than willing to help . I had questions , they were of great help with me.
