It was a beautiful day yesterday but my sports car broke. So top down bonnet up waiting for AAA a small group of motorized bikes and a motor scooter rode by my broken car in the bike lane. I haven't been on a motorized bike in quite a while now. I ride my lovely little Symba. But these guys perked up my need to build glands and I remembered I have a 49cc four stroke motor with a 4g (I think) drive sitting in the shop, never run. So I am beginning a casual search for a suitable bike frame to stick that in

Yeah I've had AAA for 26 years and a few years of motorized bikes. I know how reliable AAA is and how unreliable motorized bikes can be.
Dang Jim welcome back, that little four stroke and a good hub adapter should be dependable. Some better gearboxes are on the market now, some have a primary belt drive.
yeah Greg58 I was thinking along the lines of a three wheeler. I built my wife an electric trike that she just loves. I have my Symba Cub. That's 55+ mph scooter with real breaks, lights and all the good stuff. BTW the sporty car is back on the road and my wallet was dinged pretty hard.
