Well folks i've got a friend of mine that has a vintage 79 yamaha engine that he mounted on a trek solid frame. First things first theirs a few issues with it namely in the clutch and gear box area.
He bought and installed a clutch kit from ebay things were allright for a little time but now it will only idle and when he tries to engage the clutch with it in first gear it kicks back and kills the engine. From the way it sounds like something isnt messing quite right in the gear box area or is it an issue with the way the clutch is meshing in their?
I know i've had one **** of a time with the little 50 cc chinease cousins when dealing with clutches almost mandaiting a degree in the black arts when dealing with clutch assemblys any ideas folks?
