Won’t start

I finished my bike yesterday and went for a few rides and everything ran great. I returned from a long ride and it wouldn’t start so I let it rest and it started and when on a long ride, now it won’t start, it sounds like it is going to start and bucks and engages a little. It seems like maybe clutch is slipping? Photo:

Thank you, I will pedal more before releasing the clutch and continue to pedal. But first I need to get it to start. I expect a NGK B8HS-10 spark plug to arrive today to see if that would help . Would additional pictures, like of the spark plug or a video of how it sounds when I am trying to start it help?

#8 is way too cold of a plug... Use a NGK-B6HS (or a #5 because winter is here)

Install a new plug & test for spark

I took out the spark plug and laid it on top of head in contact with bolt and walked bike with clutch out in the dark and did not see spark.

That spark plug you had pictured was very wet with gas,,, The spark will travel through the gas (& not jump the air gap).

Try the same test with a new (dry) plug.
Also... try spinning the rear wheel fast (& don't just walk the bike).

Another thing... tape off that white wire so it doesn't ground out.

Thanks for all your help, spun wheel fast with dry plug and no spark. I have an ohm meter, what testing do you recommend?

I tighten the large wire from spark plug and got a spark, took it on a test drive, I started bucking and started and I rode it for about 2 blocks then it died, and I couldn’t get it started. Seems like the spark may be intermittent.
