alright so my bike doesn't have a spot for rear brakes, and the coaster was taken off to adapt to the freewheel hub, would this work? it essentially just bolts to the frame, kinda sandwiches it together

It should work, but not very well. It is a very cheaply made stamped steel caliper that will not provide the stopping power you need on a motorized bike.

It is better than no brake, but not much. That price is kinda steep for what it is as well at $38. I'd shop around for a better stopper like a linear pull v-brake with and adaptor of even a rim-crusher type U-brake with adaptor from Dan's Comp or the likes.
