Will a 49cc Honda clone fit in this frame?

I have a 1993 GT Talera bike. I want to use a 49cc Honda clone 4 stroke kit for reliability. Do you think that engine will fit in this frame? My concern is the way the rear frame crosses into the main triangle. The plastic lock holder will be removed.

All advice is appreciated.

Howdy, Catfisher. I'm guessing it will fit fine. Most suppliers have a "will it fit my frame" section or page. Or is discussed in a questions area.

But looks like you have lots of room.

Like the simple and stoutness of that frame.

Cut a piece of cardboard 8" wide x 10" tall and see if it fits INTO the frame
with the base being fairly level.
