I can't seem to find the link to the initial settings on the Carter N can anyone help out?

Idle adjusting screw, two turns out. Once you have it running you can make the final adjustment.

Quenton installed that motor on a bike and test rode it. What he told me was it might need a bit more fuel from the high speed needle. I assumed from our conversation it was ready to go, and I never touched it. You might check how many turns out he used for a base set up. The carb is both low and high speed adjustable.
I've been anxiously following to see any reports on your progress.

Sorry for the delay, Mike's right, run it a little more rich to start with then you can make the final adjustment, 2 turns out.
Sister-in-law is fighting the cancer this past week, she tired but doing good.
