whats the weight of a grayhound

I think the shipping wt includes the box, think it was 22# on the scale dry.
It has been a great engine so far.

Prof that's what I wanted to hear.... I still think about building the super simple friction drive and now that I know my chainsaw build was too weak the bigger drive shaft appeals to me.

just a direct drive wheel on the drive shaft and a lever to raise and lower the engine mount as a clutch

What are you waiting for? Buy one at the sale price and do it. You can't go wrong with this engine at that price.....and even with it's lower RPM, this thing has good power.

The sale has ended. I'm going to wait to see if they put it back on sale. I'm not in any rush. I need to figure out what I'm going to use for a roller and how to attach it.

I drove over to look at the engine and it is awfully heavy for a lift engine. I am giving it more thought/
