I picked up a 1985 yam4L40049 a couple months ago and i just was wondering if anyone knew any information about it. I know its a self mixing 2 stroke engine. I get about 55-65 miles per gallon with my weight of 170. max weight is 175. I love rideing this bike and I would appreciate any comments or information on maintenance

It's a Moped without pedals.

It's a QT50. You should be able to find all the info you need if you use QT50 in your search.

Yah, it's a QT50... they call 'em a NoPed.

They are a lotta fun, and really handy.
You should look into removing the auto-mix function and pre-mix the fuel yourself.
A bit messy-er, but when re-jetted, it will live longer.
