This came with my kit and I have no idea what its for...?

it's a gear puller tool.

it's for pulling the small gear,large cluth gear and the drive sprocket be sure to thread it it straight and all the way in or it will strip good luck Bob

thats the thing you ruin whilst trying to remove your stuck on sprocket.
lube it,and be gentle,a little rap with a tapometer will sometimes help.

Oh so its like a bigger version of the tool you use to remove the crankset on a bike!?
