That's cool.I think a engine from a old-school speedway bike would look great!!
plus those vanguards run upwards of $300 onlineOK Venice. We want to see you ride a bicycle with a 500cc Jawa and live to post a vid youtube. You would need to use brakes from a Hayabusa.
Most any engine looks good to me on a boardie if it is frame mounted. One guy posted a boardie that had a v-twin Briggs Vanguard in it. The builder removed the fan shroud and cut down the fins on the flywheel. It looked great, but wasn't much of a bicycle anymore.
He only asked what would look good... not be practical!OK Venice. We want to see you ride a bicycle with a 500cc Jawa and live to post a vid youtube. You would need to use brakes from a Hayabusa.
Me either, but was wondering if they could be had separate from the rest of the chopper. You know, just motor and trans. One would hope it would be somewhat affordable then.Fishguts, I havent seen those. But i dont have $900 anyways

I emailed them yesterday and asked about a replacement engine/trans.Howdy,
Here's a 50cc "twin" chopper for about the same price:
Mini Choppers V Twin
It is really a 1 cylinder with a second, fake cylinder added to it.
I don't know anything about them or if you can just get engines.
