Went to a cool event over the weekend. Vintage Motorcycle Show and Swap. Got there nice and early to get first crack at the better deals.

Nice old Thor. Guy wanted $800. It was a little too rough so I passed. Maybe I should have bought it.

See, the pedal side chain was broken and it had two flat tires.

This one had a weird name. Flying Merkel or something. At least this one was a running example. Still, at $975 I had to pass. I'll hold out and find a nicer one for less.

I actually didn't buy anything all day. There were a few other rusted out old pieces of junk for sale, but hey I just didn't want to take on any new projects right now. Still, it was a fun event. Remember, always get up early and be the first one there. It didn't happen this time, but you never know when you'll stumble into a sweet deal!

Yah, it's too late for April Fools. Is there some other national prank day that I am unaware of? I like that Thor, always been partial to that make.

I'm holding out for a mint Sportsman Flyer. Doesn't take as many zeros after the number and you can still find parts.
