vintage motorbicycling in germany

Hi Russel,
sorry for my late posting, but i was very busy the last days....
The Sachs was built around 1953, one of these early Mopeds with 26" Wheels.

Thanks for sharing zuendappman that is probably the coolest link that has ever been posted on this site.

Neat bikes and the motors look so well made. That's the first front wheel belt drive I've seen. So many different ways of doing things and yet some of the bikes look much like those on our forum. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful bikes, I am looking forward to seeing the burnt and rusted little front engine finished. Have fun, Dave

Yo, this Cymota is an old english engine, it looks very sad to me....
here some pics to see it in better condition on a bike.

Thanks so much for sharing.

Wouldn't that be something... Who needs a common language when everybody understands "vroom vroom" ... boy, that would be fun, wouldn't it? Everybody looking at each others' rides and finding ways to communicate questions and compliments. Solidarity riding along together, brothers and sisters in the wind. Got to have some girls riding, too. So in reality since I can't go to Germany I will ride with you guys in spirit as one world community on our motor bicycles.
