vapor lock or grounding out?

I have the bike assembled and fully ready, I know the engine gets compression but I am wondering why it won't spark, it sounds almost as if it is, but I can't tell, there is a substantial bubble in the gas line

I am lost
 
I was reading about how the clutch doesnt release fully, I suspect thats what is happening, I only have the tiny spring hooked up to the clutch and not the big one because I couldn't figure out where the big one goes...

please help

is that even right? where does the big spring go? I am going to rewire the engine right now and see if that makes a difference
 
thanks, I will fix that up, but right now I am having trouble rethreading the clutch cable back into the small banjo bolt before threading it into the clutch arm, its frayed :-||
 
time for a new clutch cable.

i bought a pack of 4 bike cables for $5 from walmart,all the cables have diffrent ends so one is bound to fit the clutch lever.
