Hi,

Anytime I pedal with a normal amount of force the rear axle starts to slip. This does not allow me to gain enough speed to start the engine.

Does anyone know why my rear axle is slipping?

Thanks,

Howdy Merdle, welcome!

Would like to say just a guess, but pretty sure the pals are worn to knobs and it's time to replace.

I would take it off and take completely apart. Might get lucky but think she's dead Cap'n.

But could be wrong.

A wheel is often cheaper than the gutz.

Thanks for the input guys! I manage to get this one for free, I figure there was something wrong with it but hey it was free so why not try it out.

Can get bikes at thrift stores and yard sales for less than the cost of fixing. A whole bike just to get a wheel. Works, cheap and easy.
