Tracking miles

I hear all these references to how many miles folks have on their engines. Are these just guesses or do most MB riders have odometers on their bikes? Where do you get them?

Schwinn and Bell (among others) sell mini computer doodads which are primarily used as speedometers but also track many other things, including both trip and total mile odometers. Priced at under to over 20 bucks, depending on options.

You may need a resistor plug to eliminate interference, like the NGK BR6HS
