Tomos Boardtracker

HELLO,

I wanna take a cruiser frame and weld a tomos mount near the BB area. Im just trying to think a way to weld the tomos frame mount to the bicycle frame while keeping it clean.

I will also use the tomos forks and wheelset. Heres a copy of someone elses drawing for reference

and heres the motor..

as you can see it has pedals on the motor and it has a built in 2 speed trans... on a bike frame it will be 45lbs less weight than on a moped...and these motors can do 40 no prob.

and just cut the bottom motor mount area off and weld onto bike tubes.

Good project!
I've mounted the motor already, it was pretty straight forward. You should have not much of issues going forward with it. Post more pictures when you make progress!

With some help from Fasteddy we mounted a Tomos A35 engine to an AMF Roadmaster frame last summer utilizing the engine hanger from the Tomos, welding it to the frame of the AMF. I haven't run it yet, but it should scoot. Once I get the current build on the road (Indian Hiawatha) then the Tomos/AMF is next in line. Good luck with your project!
