Tip for Centering your kit sprocket

Use strips of aluminum to shim the hub to fit tightly in the sprocket center hole. Assemble the ragjoint and then insert shims as needed before tightening the bolts. This holds everything nice and centered so there are no tight spots in the chain. Removing any play will make the kit ragjoint work correctly and avoid driveline problems down the road.

Good advice but I'll need to add that the outer concentricity of the sprocket teeth is the critical issue. I've had couple of sprockets that the center hole was not drilled perfectly and even with the hole centered on the hub there was a noticable vertical out-of-true condition that could only be fixed by enlarging the center hole and centering the sprocket by checking the outer diameter.

Good idea. I had begun to shim mine but didn't persist.

I've been lucky so far. Mine have all been spot on with shimming.
Good advice though, considering the state of chinese "quality control".
