time to buy a $10 carb

got 3 good rides outta it. 4t time turned fuel on and it just ran out of the air filter. float holds the fuel well, can't see the leak so it must be a micro split at the seam. took 3 rides with gaps in between to fill it up. it's a china girl NT

how ?
precision touch with a hot soldering iron maybe ?
drop of CA glue in the right spot ?

that thing is still 3/4 full of gas !!
i'll flip it over tomorrow to see if it empties itself from the other side.

it won't empty by itself, one needs to put it in a pot of boiling water till it all evaporates out - doesn't take too long

let cool for quite a while to equalize pressure, then paint with epoxy along seam

i keep driving these things a greater distance from home lately when we have good weather and i'm always thinking how hard it would be to peddle back home !!

out of the kazillions made i wonder how many have this problem.
on a fwd tilted eng the crankcase would fill up real quick if the petcock was left on.....
