ok, that's fine and it probably works fine.
BUT, it probably looks like a crazy contraption bolted to the bike.

Not too bad, it's actually 3/4" stock :~)

thanks for the ideas everyone!! I'm just brainstorming while I wait for my chain and tensionrer to come in the maill

I just bought a regular 415 chain but here is the tensioner i bought

it looks like since they have a 2 week back order that they have to manufacture it or something.

I guess that 2 week back order is just a line of crap. It already says "in transit"
