This engine ruined my bike

Once upon a time I made a thread about using curved washers on the stock tensioner, and also one about using a skate wheel.

I also have run one bike with the stock tensioner without a bearing in it ( red tag kit) for a long time, no problems. I do run the chain a bit loose, always pull the clutch when I release the throttle, and make sure it is perfectly in line.

ok, that's fine and it probably works fine.
BUT, it probably looks like a crazy contraption bolted to the bike.

Not too bad, it's actually 3/4" stock :~)

thanks for the ideas everyone!! I'm just brainstorming while I wait for my chain and tensionrer to come in the maill

I just bought a regular 415 chain but here is the tensioner i bought

it looks like since they have a 2 week back order that they have to manufacture it or something.

I guess that 2 week back order is just a line of crap. It already says "in transit"
