modena 7sp.
anyone see issues putting a happytime motor in that frame ?
is the seat post angle ok ?
the frame IS steel , color is right for me and going to ditch the fuel tank for the gas tank that goes over the rear tire.
the only thing that make me go "hmmm" is where the rear axle is , looks a bit weak there

Everything else is aluminum alloy, but I couldn't find where it said whether the frame was steel. It might be, but I couldn't find where it said.

You should be able to squeeze a two-smoker in there, but to be safe I'd get one with an angle-fire head, so you won't have to remove the engine to change the plug. You may even need a smaller front pedal sprocket.

the link under beach cruisers on the site shows

they do have an alloy frame model as well but ill stick with steel.

How is the Modena 7-Speed working out for you? I'm thinking about buying the same one to motorize. Thanks!

If in doubt on the material the frame's made of, grab a magnet off the fridge or out of the toolbox or where-ever.. you'll know if it's steel very quickly.
