K.I.S.S. i always say
the less bits a project has, the less problems and breakage will occur with the mechanism.

it sure beats the sox off a chinese bike kit
American bike, Swedish motor, built in america!

im going to weigh it soon so i can figure my HP/tonne ratio

sofar i can achieve 28mph on 24.5 CCs, which is more than 1.14 MPH per CC

after a little research i found a Porsche 911 GT3 has near 3600CC engine
and can do near 193 mph which is only .0536 MPH per CC

TOP FUEL DRAGSTER
8200cc 300MPH which is only .0366 MPH per CC

EFFICIENCY AT ITS BEST
and im trying to hit 35 on this beast.cs.

another update:

i personally have hit 29mph on this bike(i weigh on the low side of 150lbs), a friend of mine who is a bit scrawneyer topped out at 30.4 mph(1.25 mph per cc)

its time to start thinking about a tuned exhaust!

ive been running my bike with a broken clutch, and it still works awesome!

one time on a ride my throttle cabel let go and i had to idle it home with no clutch and i still enjoyed myself without pedeling much


the way my motor mounts is steel clamped to steel, i used a bike innertube to help keep the vibes out of the seat
i also decided that nuts and bolts are overrated, so the bits that needed to be permanent were welded, the result is a much quieter ride, less rattles when the engine is off the wheel

As you asked above, IMO more folks do NOT run the skinny tires because they wish to protect their rims... a fat tire also gives some suspension.

Auggie had said way back when that when he was on the salt he was very glad he had wider tires on because the cracks could have swallowed up skinny tires.
