The best deal EVER.

Gotta say, the inside cleaned up a lot better than I'd feared.

the bathroom and stove were the worst. The stove had candle wax all over it and took some elbow grease. Took a hose to the bathroom.
Cushions in back are toast from sun and water damage.

Roof needs some sealing.
But still looking like it will be worth more than $400 (Usual bike sale price here)
Still a win!

I was wondering how the old upholstery was in that beast, Maniac, forty years of sunlight does strange things to fabric. Even if you have to buy some new cushions it's still a great deal. At least you didn't need a biohazard suit to clean out the bathroom ;), although the 'black water' tank may be another matter. (By the way to reduce the risk of having your fuel siphoned off, stick an "Unleaded Fuel Only" sticker on the black water tank access hatch. Anyone who tries to siphon you will get what they deserve. :))

Just the engine is worth more than $400....the 413 is a good, torquey engine down low and works great in large sedans and pickups.

Does burnouts at will. :D

Probably has a 727 behind that. Hmmmmm...motorswap anyone? :D

The question you've gotta ask, "Would I make that trade.....?"

Heck yeah!!! I can build another MB ---- so far, I can't build a vintage motorhome!

".the 413 is a good, torquey engine"
The Beach Boys liked the 413 so much that they wrote a song about it.
"My Stingray's light, the slicks are startin' to spin
But the 413's really diggin' in"...
..."Superstock Dodge is winding out in low
But my fuel injected Stingray's really startin' to go
To get the traction, I'm ridin' the clutch
My pressure plate's burnin', that machine's too much"
