As a long time lurker, I figured it was about time to thank all the members of this forum for all the valuable information contributed by you that was so helpful in my project. I have been working on my bike for about a year, making many improvements along the way. I am finally satisfied with the results. I started with a standard Huasheng kit with a hoot gearbox from Bikeberry. Ran fine, but I didn't like the sound of the gearbox. After adding accessories found on ebay, and a Whizzer speedometer, I changed to a Q-Matic drive, tuned pipe, 66 tooth chainwheel from Pirate Cycle and a Manic Mechanic custom size hub adapter. The tuned pipe was a little loud, so I got a lawn mower muffler from Tractor Supply and drilled out the center baffle with a 1/2' bit. It toned the exhaust note done very nicely, and it actually runs better with higher RPM's than the stock tuned pipe. Top speed is 35 MPH. Thanks again to all members of this forum! I could not have been successful without you.
