just started taking apart a dyno cruzer that i bought at the swap meet and i find a balboa beach bike rentals sticker on the frame. called and no pick up. i'll call tomorrow and if its stolen ill give it back no problem. im a big guy and i could get my money back the easy way or the hard [court] way. my question is their a way to check vin's before i put more money [motor] in a bike? like a vin hot line? maybe chopping off the hands of thief's isn't such a bad idea after all. hopefully all is good but i dont think rentals are sold. thanks dennis
