Stock muffler

Is it normal that the tube between the two baffles inside the stock muffler has its center crushed blocking direct gas passage?

i dont see why they would come that way. i drove a large screwdriver through mine to open it back up.

Yeah that would be like that for a reason. It's probably there for both back pressure AND to help quite the engine.

Yes... that is how some of them come stock!
