any thoughts! I currently run a alum. GT mountain bike with a 80cc. the last thing I want is a catastophic failure! I have placed 1/4" rubber pads between the frame and motor to reduce vibration.

thats a good looking motorized bicycle! i would just watch it closely. my build i am doing now is a 4 stroke titan bicycle motor on a carbon fiber frame. the rear triangle is aluminum where all the mounts go. ( bicycle motor is rack mount) i really am not worried about it holding up. the bicycle is a schwinn home grown which was thier usa made downhill racing bicycle and made to handle alot of abuse and speed :D

Is your front mount a standard set-up or the drill the hole kind (which scares the krapposis out of me)

it is the drill through set-up! the bike has a 2 1/2" down tube , so it had to be done

The hole itself doesn't necessarily scare me - by it seems like a singular stress point. Just watch it - you weren't probably planning to slam some jumps or hit the whoop-de-doos at 80 mph anyway.
