Spark Problem

Hey I just purchased a motor (jet 80cc) and I'm having a problem getting any spark. I put a 12 volt test light on the blue wire coming from the magneto and cranked the engine over fast and got no current out of the magneto. What is the output voltage from the magneto. I can then test it with a volt meter that way I know if the magneto is faulty or not.

u know when i got my first motor the cdi module was'nt even hook up but with soldering and electrical tape it all work out. May not be the problem but some assistance to help u with your slight problem.
