Who on here is full of Spam sandwiches by now? They attack with their ads constantly in the threads they post. If you check out New Members several of them are Spam Bots as well. All you have to do is read the About section of its profile.

Can the Staff here contact the Staff of Moteredbikes.com and discuss what software they're using to STOP the Spam bots? Please drastic measures need to be taken before the Spam bots completely take over on here.

I've been reporting them and the scammers posting them. I've given up trying. They all seem to show up late at night our time and most likely during the day their time.

They have taken over unfortunately and the only cure is probably to have dedicated people watching for them.

It's going to take security software to filter them out. There's way too many for a few people to stop. The other forum uses software to filter the Spam Bots out.

That certainly can't be inexpensive.

I understand that. I have a cellphone that provides free service to qualifying people on low incomes. Unfortunately, I get close to a 100 calls a day by spam bots for telemarketers. There are apps that can filter them out but you have to pay for the service the app provides. This defeats the purpose of having free cell service.

My work around, my phone has a Do Not Disturb feature with the option of only allowing your Contact list to call you. It's the world we live in now.

Canada has the highest phone costs in the world. My cell service that allows me to call anywhere in North America is $98 Canadian or $68 U.S. a month and I own the phone. You can purchase a flip phone for a$100 a year and that gives you so many minutes a year. When I had one I think it was 400 minutes a year. You could add minutes as you needed them. There are some other cell phone services run by companies like 7-11.

My nephew used to work for a computer server company and they had a security division in the company that watched who was using them. He had some pretty interesting stories about who they caught trying to slide some pretty smarmy things through their system. Our land line gets hack calls a lot but it seems to go in groups for two or three days. My cell phone may get one or two a month.

Steve.
