My 29er has a set of "Ponely" 29" x 2.125" tires. They're a bit soft but otherwise I like the tread pattern. I'm looking for a spare set of tires but all I'm finding are knobby MTB tires or narrow 700c road tires. I can't use MTB tires as I plan on adding a friction drive to my bike and want to have tires that are at least 2.1" wide. Anyone know where I can get a set of cruiser tires? I'd jump on another set of Ponely's, but I'm guessing they're a chinese knock off of another brand and I haven't found a supplier anywhere. (Edit: Looks like Ponely's are made and sold in Hungary of all places.) Attached is a photo of the tread on my current tires. I'd like to find something similar or if possible, same width but more street oriented.
