That looks like a pretty well though out friction drive system. I was surprised to read that the ignition system is an American unit, not a Chinese unit.

I have a lot of friends that would like a motorized bicycle but don't really care for much power at all and aren't mechanically inclined. This would be perfect for almost all of them. =)
