A question: is the 48cc smoother running than the 66cc and does the 66cc have noticeably more power?

The 2 stroke chinese motors are very maliable, in a sense.
The better you treat them, with some patience, they begin to take on a differing character.

Well that was my answer, basing on objectivity.

The 48cc is really smooth, its been broken in and driven for many years.
There is a difference in torque, top speed and maintenance of the top speed.

The 66cc is a notiecable step up, especially after being broken in, and exhaust mod.
There is a lot more top end speed and a noticeable torque difference low end.
