Sneak preview of America Picker’s new shop- Old cycles & a nice Cyclecar

Had to go to Davenport today and since it was such a nice spring day i decided to swing by Antique Archaeology on the way home-

With the new shop they have much more room for display now, although i’m a little saddened to see they tore down some old houses make room for it and some additional parking.

Lots of antique cycles & engines about- The Cyclecar is a beautifully restored 1919 Merz, the tag reads “Picked in Florida, Feb 2014”- No price, and i was afraid to ask!

I imagine it and the finished shop will be featured in upcoming episodes.

I’ll be going back to Davenport for the annual Blackhawk chapter of the AMCA show Labor day weekend!

In fact, I’m pretty sure I’ll be a vendor this year for at least 2 of the days.

And the Pickers shop is just a few miles from Davenport!
