this is my second 68.5cc build on a Schwinn Delmar
things/mods i had to do :

remove 3 links off chain with dremel
enlarge sproket hole with dremel to fit over hub
grind hub cover so it fits on sproket
cut back fender (with dremel) so chain doesnt rub
drill hole through center of tensioner and bar and put in a screw
order a universal frame adapter
paint engine black
paint scrached up chain guard (from shipping)
use alot of locktight

heres some pictures

Very nice looking build tf2psycho, me personally I like the tank pushed forward as much as possibly either way your build looks awesome, welcome aboard

Im getting my delmar this weekend, cant wait to start modding. Hey tf2psycho, are there holes in the frame for caliper brakes?

not that i know of ..the coaster brake seems to do the job however i would suggest a front brake for the extra stopping power

i just got a delmar and i hope the coaster brake works good enough,i dont want to mess with more cables and stuff.im switching the engine from a roadmaster mountain bike to the del mar cruiser.

i am on the second tank of gas and coaster brake is doing the job fine just give yourself some stopping distance and youll be fine.bf.

i am on the second tank of gas and coaster brake is doing the job fine sofar
..however i wouldnt mind a extra front brake .bf.

Nice build tf2psycho. Please post up bigger hi-res photos! I'd like to see your chain tensioner mod.
I agree it's addictive. I screwed up and built mine with a suspect rear wheel and now I'm held up trying to get it built back up again.
