Seats for recumbent trikes

I have noticed some nice looking seats on some of the recumbents. Does anyone have any good ideas on how to build a good looking seat? The best I have come up with is I saw some exercise equipment at Goodwill that has seats and backrests the are about the right size.
 
That's not a bad idea w/the exercise equipment! For DIY, the Atomic Zombie 'Warrior' trike seat is simply 3 bits of ply with some closed cell foam trimmed to fit;

I cheated and went with ActionBent's fiberglass seat: ActionBent Recumbent Bikes which turned out to be a good deal on a great seat ;)
 
If you've any hobby/arts & crafts type stores they'll prolly have it - but a camping supply store will have the bedroll foam mats which are the same thing :)
